Cedar Playground Chips are a popular choice for playground projects that are used in about ¾ of all playgrounds in the United States. They are ground more finely than standard wood chips to create a safe, impact absorbing surface.

Cedar Playground Chips
Cedar wood chips screened 1/4”-1 ¼”. Can be used for flat or gradual slope landscaping. Great for playground surfacing but can also be used for dog pens, dog runs, walkways and garden paths. When used as playground material plan to use 1” per 1 foot of fall zone minimum depth. Plan for some compaction so that you still maintain your 1 inch per 1 foot.

Shavings
